In short: A four-hour private sail from Marina do Funchal along Madeira's south coast, past Praia Formosa and Câmara de Lobos towards Cabo Girão, with stops to swim and drinks and light snacks on board. The yacht is yours, for up to 10 guests.
The half-day trip leaves Marina do Funchal and follows the south coast west: Praia Formosa, the fishing harbour of Câmara de Lobos and the cliffs of Cabo Girão, among the highest in Europe. When the sea is calm the captain anchors in clear water at Fajã dos Padres or Calhau da Lapa so you can swim.
Spica is a classic 43-foot sailing yacht and the owner, Captain João Gabriel, is at the helm. Drinks and light snacks are served on deck, and the plan adapts to the day: more sailing, more swimming, or simply time to sit back and watch the island from the water.
Choose the morning or the afternoon, book the boat online and pay directly. There is no platform in between and no one else on board.

Both. There is a morning and an afternoon departure; you choose one when you book.
Can we swim?
Yes, when the sea allows. The captain stops in sheltered water along the way, at places like Fajã dos Padres or Calhau da Lapa, and there is a swimming ladder and a hot and cold shower on deck.
Is the yacht only for our group?
Yes. You book the whole boat, not seats, so the price is the same for two guests or ten.
How late can we book online?
Online booking closes 24 hours before departure. For anything later, send us a message on WhatsApp and we tell you what is possible.
How many people can come aboard?
Up to 10 guests. Every charter is private: the yacht is yours for the trip, whether you are two or ten.
Where do we depart from?
From Marina do Funchal, in the centre of Funchal. We confirm the exact pontoon and the meeting time when you book.
What should we bring?
Comfortable clothes and shoes, swimwear and a towel if you want to swim, sun protection, and a light jacket for the return. Drinks and snacks are on board.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The captain decides on the day, with your safety first. If the sea does not allow the trip, we offer you another date or a refund.
Will we see dolphins?
Dolphins are not the aim of our trips. Spica sails for the coast, the swimming stops and the time on deck; it is not a dolphin or whale watching tour.
